FIXTURES FOE- SEASON. HAWERA FEBRUARY 25. The racing fixtures for the various motor cycle clubs in New Zealand for the coming season, and the championship meetings for next season, were allocated at the New Zealand AutoCycle Union’s annual conference in New Plymouth yesterday. Feilding was decided upon for the heavy-weight championship, Rotorua for the middleweight, and Hamilton for the lightweight. Several applications were received for the championships. For the lightweight Hawera withdrew its nomination in favour of Hamilton, which had not previously been awarded a championship. For the middle-weight New Plymouth, Rangitikoi. and Marlborough withdrew in favour of Rotorua for the same reason. For the heavy-weight a ballot was necessary, Feilding, Opotiki and Nelson all being nominated. The following dates for racing fixtures were allotted to the various clubs: Rotorua—October 22 (Labour Day). 1924. Hastings—November 1, 1924. Marlborough—November 29, 1924. Auckland —December 6, 1924. Opotiki—December 26 (Boxing Day). Manawatu—January 22, 1925. Hamilton—January 31, 1925. Auckland—February 7, 1925. Rangitikei—February 14, 1925. New Plymouth—February 21, 1925. Hawera—February 25, 1925. Hastings— February 28. 1925. Auckland—March *7, 1925. Nelson—March 15, 1925. Napier—April 13 (Easter Monday), 1925.
