ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A WOMAN KILLED. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION ) PALMERSTON N., Aug. 8. Stanton Hill, near Pohangina, was the scene of a motor fatality this afternoon, when a car skidded, dropping over a bank of 30 feet.
Mrs H. Lucas, wife of a farmer of Pohangina, was instantly killed. She leaves a grown-up son and daughter (Mrs Wells). The driver of the vehicle and the only other occupant were removed to the hospital suffering from severe injuries to the head and chest.
