PIHAMA DAIRY COMPANY.

THE ANNI'Ai, REPORT. Ihe annual report of the Piliama Oavrv Coinyany states: The new factory at Central was completed early in tlie season, and you now have one of tile best and most up-to-date dairy lactones in the province. The markets have been very uncertain during the season, hut latterly a sharp rise has taken place, and as there, is still a eery considerable ommtity of produce to sell that was taken into account at a very conservative estimate, it is almost certain that there will be a, large surplus ever and above the balance as shown to he distributed to suppliers as account sales come to band. Our staff deserve every credit for the high positions gained by our produce on the grading list, the grade of Central cheese being the highest in the Dominion. An electric motor has been installed at the Sheet Road branch, and it is anticipated that this will show a considerable saving in fuel during the coming season. The plantation at the company’s bush section is making good headway, and we tender our thanks to the committee who so ably attend to this important work.
