POUR FOR UNION COMPAPNY. (By Telegraph—Speeial to the Star.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 8. The four new vessels which are being added to the Union Company’s fleet arc coal-burning, and the names and tonnage are as follows: Kouini, 23,000 tons; Kaimai, 22,000 tons; Kairanga, 4900 tons; Kareta, 4700 tons. The first to come out will be the Kaimai and Kairanga. They are coming via the Cape of Good Hope, and will receive orders en route whether to call first at an Australian or a New Zealand port. The Konini and Kareta will leave next month. The company contemplates building two more cargo vessels to its own specifications for the intercolonial and coastal trades.
