DEATH OF CHILD. CHARGE AGAINST FATHER, (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 6. Harry. Joseph Peters Keogh appeared at the Police Court, charged with the murder of his child by cutting its throat with a table knife. Rather tall, frail, and emaciated looking, Keogh presented a dishevelled appearance. While the charge was being read the prisoner fidgeted with his hat and trembled. Counsel for the accused asked that Keogh be examined by mental experts with the least possible delay. The chief detective said this had already been done. ,

Mr Poynton, S.M., remanded accused till August 15, and counsel could have Keogh examined bv his own medical rnan.
