ONE MAN KILLED. BY CABLE—PBESB ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT SYDNEY, Aug. 5. The inquest has opened at Tunee concerning the death of John Sheldon, the victim of the Wantabadgery tragedy, which followed a dispute, in which iaxe.s were used, between Sheldon and John Lang, both rabbiter®. Both men were terribly injured, Sheldon succumbing a few hours later. Lang was arrested. Lang gave evidence that Sheldon attacked him with an axe and then tied him to a. bed. Witness bit through the ropes and escaped. When Sheldon came to the hut liater witness rushed him and struck him with an axe, but hit too hard.

Further- evidence showed that Sheldon was very hard to get on with. On a previous occasion it was alleged that "he seriously injured Lang.
