To Correspondents.
“lOrl per unit.”—As we gave you the opportunity to record your protest and with it published the only reply which the company will give officially for publication, though willing- to answer enquiries by consumers at the office, we, do not think that by a continuance of the correspondence anything will be gained. If the correspondent feels that his attitude towards the company’s charges is common among a. section of the consumers, we would suggest that a deputation be formed and that the company be approached and the matters placed before it in proper form.
