For the second day of the Gisborne Racing Club’s steeplechase meeting today the weather was fine and the racing good. The totalizator investments were £16,374, against £9668 on The second day last year, an increase if £6706. For the two days the total was £29,149, compared with £19,343 'ast year, an increase of £9806. Results: Gisborne Hurdles, one and a half miles.—Hyrax (H. Gray) 1, Jovial 2, Birka 3.
