POLICE-VISIT TO PUTIKI. A man named Victor John Dawson was arrested bv the Wanganui police on Saturday, and-that evening a police party, consisting of Detective Revell, and Constables R. Wilson and Dougherty, searched his house at Putiki,. with the result-, .that- a' wide variety of a l ticlfes were taken, possession .of. They include electrical- gear, boots, clothing, four -overcoats, portions of .bicycles, to-bacco,-a handbag,'Masonic regalia, and a . Jockey Club ■ member’s pass. • Some of-the articles will form the basis ‘for, -a * number of "charges that will be preferred against/ accused at the Court this morning. ' • .
