PUBLIC NOTICES. COUNTY OF EGMONT. GENERAL RATES, 1924-1925. JpUBLIC' Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in'that behalf* by. “The Eating Act, 1908,’’ and the amendments thereto, and “The Counties’ Act, 1920,” and the a mend meats thereto, it is the intention of the Council of the County of Egmont, at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Council to be held at the County Chambers, Opunake, on TUESDAY, the 12th day of August, .1924, to make and levy the following General Rates on the capital value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County, for the period of 12 months from the Ist day of April, 1924, to the 31st day of March, 1925, namely:— OEO RlDlNG—Twopence and one farthing (2}d) in the £, OPUA RlDlNG—Twopence and one farthing (2sd) in the £. BAHOTU RlDlNG—Twopence and one farthing (2id) in the £. NEW ALL RlDlNG—Twopence and one farthing in the £. And that such rates shall be due and become payable 'in one sum at the County Office, Opunake, pn the 26th day of August, 1924, to : the County Clerk and Rate Collector. A rebate of five per centum will be allowed to every ratepayer on so much of the amount of rates payable by him as is paid before the expiration of thirty days after the due date thereof.
