To theatregoers, more especially those acquainted with the original Pollard Juveniles, the neiv s of the death of Mrs. Jessie .Bodley, better known possibly by her stage name of Jessie Kebbelle, will be received with sincere regret. Mrs. Bodley was the oldest member of the Pollard Juveniles and was held in sincere affection bv them, and always spoken of a s “auntie.” She was a highly educated woman, having matriculated at 18 years of age, and got her B.A. degree in Australia, She joined the Pollards as violiniste and conductor, and tor a great many vears travelled with the company. It is twenty-seven years ago since Mrs. Bodley retired from the stage, and she was residing in Roxburgh Street. Khy}>er Pass, Auckland, when she died of heart seizure last week", aged Al.
