We can with every confidence recommend buyers to attend this sale. The cows arc an excellent producing lot, for the most part grade Jerseys. Mr Marsh has been dairying for a number of years and has selected his herd bulls with the greatest care, and through this has met. with splendid results. Practically all the second and third ealvers are by Black Pattern, a purebred Jersey bull very well known, especially in the Urenui district. His stock are undoubted producers. Hawkesbury Majesty and a son of Black Pattern are the bulls to which all the cow s arc in calf. Calving dates will be supplied at the sale. Full pedigrees of the pedigree stock will also be given. The horses can be recommended.. Tliis sale should appeal to South Taranaki dairymen who are wanting good cows. It is a well-known fact that North Taranaki dnirv cattle do exceptionally well on the'heavier pastures in the south, and Mr Marsh’s cows will not prove any exception to the rule.
