Chicago has had a murder daily for June and one hundred ancl seventyseven since the first of the year. The report of the Chicago Crime- Commission shows that the trend of murders is upward. About half of those indicted at Chicago were convicted, and only a small proportion were executed. L nine senteneed last year onlv on° was executed.—Reuter.
