An instance of the menace of driving stock along the main street occurred at Frankton last week when seven Hereford bullocks from a herd being driven along Commerce Street, broke away and charged through the shop of Messers. Menzies and Gollop, auctioneers, knocking down and smashing a. large duchess chest. There was a great deal of crockery in the shop, but this was not damaged. Fortunately the back door of the' premises was open, and the animals found a. ready exit. A number of ladies in the shop were greatly startled. Keep “Nazol” handy in your office, shop or home.
