HABIT PROVES FATAL. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 21. “He killed himself by drinking methylated spirits,” was the coroner’s verdict at the inquest to-day on Hercules Hunter, aged 50, a labourer, who was found dead behind an hotel. DEATH OF YOUNG MAN. GISBORNE, July 21. . Reginald Malone, aged 26 years, a sawmill . hand and single, committed suicide at Motuhora to-day by cutting his throat. Deceased recently arrived from Gisborne. It is understood his father resides at Grey Lynn.
