INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION. ENTHUSIASTIC SCENES. 3Y. CABLE —PRESS association—COPYßlGHT (Received Julv 19, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, July IS. The International Advertising Convention decided to send a telegram to Mr Mackenzie King and Mr Ooolidge expressing an earnest desire to cooperate towards the economic retoration of the world.
There were enthusiastic scenes at the farewell session. The delegates ranged under a banner represnting forty-two eountris and States, and, led by an orchestra, joined in singing the national tunes of the different countries. The meeting finally passed a resolution urging a conference of leaders of the nations with a view to preventing wars. —Reuter.
