Das is shortly going to England for the purpose of discussing an early amendment to the rules under the Raj Act so as to permit a greater number of subjects to come under direct popular control. It is understood from a reliable source that Das is anxious to end the present stalemate situation by an honourable, just and fair compromise as an alternative to a final direct action campaign.—Reuter.
