DOMINIONS ’ REPRESENTATION

(Received July If), 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July IS. In the House of Commons Mr .1. H. Thomas announced that it was settled that, the representative of any Dominion so desiring and India could become a member of the Empire delegation at the conference on the panel system. Representatives so appointed may attend the conference when not sitting as members. This is to ensure that the Dominions’ representatives shall be fully acquainted with all the proceedings of the conference. The plan adopted is a special one for this particular conference and not to be regarded as a. precedent. Mr Beleourt, the Canadian representative, will take his place on the panel with other members representing their particular Do minions.—Renter.
