Eindersley. ’me second committee sits to-morrow under the chairmanship of Mr .J. H. Thomas (Seeretary ttjr the Colonies).*' The Government gave a dinner to the conference delegates. The Treinier (Mr Ramsay MacDonald) presided, and tne company included the High CommisAustralia, South Africa, iNew Zesvland, the Irish lice State, and India. Although the form by which the various Dominions will be represented at the. conference lias not yet been defcernnned, the probability is that, if the Empire is represented by three delegates, one of them will attend as representing the Dominions, but not necessarily the same person on each occasion. Mr Thomas attended yesterday’s sitting, in view of the fact that the question of; direct representation of the Domihions was then pending OTTAWA, July 17. Senator Belcourt will attend the inter-A Hied Conference as a member of the British Empire delegation.
