She is supported by a noteworthy cast, which includes the following well-known artists: Jack Mulhall, Lew Cody, Eileen Percy, Helen Ferguson and Joseph Kilgour. In demanding that she get the. limit, Edward Gilder, department store owner, explains that he wants to make an example of Mary. On her release, vowing vengeance, she joins a gang of blackmailers on condition that she operate only “within the law.” Her specialty is breach ol . promise suits. Hon she takes advantage of an opportunity that presents itself when she meets Dick Gilder, son of her arch enemy, becomes involved in an extraordinary finance and a police frameup, squares herself with the world and nnally finds true happiness, is unfolded vividly on the screen. There will be an exceptionally fine supporting programme. Seats may be booked at Everybody's Sweet Store. A matinee will be given to-morrow at 2 p.m.

KAPONGA PICTURES. “The Cheat,” the Paramount special attraction, showing to-morrow nicdit featuring the famous Polish star. Pola rseaii with Jack Holt supnorting, is probably the finest original screen story ever written. Every scene is a bm •scene. Pola Negri is at her emotional best, and the climax is as rare excitement as has ever been interpreted on the screen. The supports are of the usual excellent quality.
