(BY TELEGRAPH — ASSOCIATION ) AUCKLAND, July 17. At the Police Court, Stanley Lawrence George Couch pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence for breaking and entering in Grey street and stealing £l. Accused pleaded that he. was drunk a.nd did not know what he was doing. MISUSE OF MOTOR CAR,
AUCKLAND, July 17. Tlieo. Walters was charged with having converted to his own use a motor car in such a manner as to be not guilty of theft; also with stealing a car from the same owner and having failed to account for £35 ; also with obtaining £lO hy falsely representing he had a motor car for sale; and obtaining £lO by falsely representing he held a lease of a motor garage. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial.
