KAPUNI.
HALL COMMITTEE’S BALL. One of the most enjoyed dances which have been held in the Knpuni hall took place on Wednesday, when a hall was arranged under the auspices of the hall committee. About sixty couples participated, and though much larger numbers have been in attendance- at the hall, it hsis seldom been the scene of such a. delightful function. The music, as rendered hv the Oeo orchestra, provided faultless dancing time, and the fiooj- was in its best condition,: while an attractive grouping of colours employed in the decoration scheme gave the tone required to coincide with, the gaiety of the dancers. Supper was served by a committee of ladies consisting of Mesdames C. Paterson, L. Harrison, R. Shaw, H. Whalen; W. Wheeler, and J. Kissick, and the Misses M. Scott and J. Murphy. As M.C.’s Messrs G. Paterson, and E. Scott were responsible for the wellarranged programme. Mesdame s Kruse, Davies, E. Scott, and Messrs Stevenson and Rice provided the music for a nunaber of appreciated extra dances.
