BREEDERS’ CONSIGNMENTS. An annual sale which, attracted a large number of buyers at Stratford was that on behalf of a number of local breeders, who had not enough stock to offer to warrant individual sales. I lfty-three females were offered and of these forty-fiye were sold, -at an average of 23 guineas. large majority of the animals were taken' by local fanners. The highest prices secured wore 48 guineas for a cow'of Mr A. L. Hooper’s (Mahoe). and 45 guineas for a. two-year-old heifer from Mr A. ,J. Smith’s herd.
