The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but northerly moderate to strong prevailing and freshening shortly. Increasing haze and cloudiness for change. Baro” meter falling after about 24 hours. Sea moderate, but increasing off shore. Tides poor.
