He was gratified at the messages from Mr MacDonald and Lord Allenby and, others. Spasmodic demonstrations crying down his opponents occurred, but otherwise there was no incident.Reuter. Several students have been arrested on a charge of complicity in the attack on Zaghiul Pasha. The perpetrator admitted that the attack , was intended as a punishment for Zaghiul Pasha’s readiness to negotiate with Britain.— Sydney Sun Cable. LONDON, July 13. Mr. MacDonald has telegraphed Zaghiul Pasha expressing, on behalf of the Government and himself personally, horror at the outrage and sincere wishes for his speedy recovery.
