SCOUT JAMBOREE.

NEW ZEALAND TROOP. 3Y CABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, July 12. The New Zealand Arawa Scout patrol arrived on board the steamer Arawa to attend the Empire Scout jamboree. They were met at Southampton by Sir Alfred Pickford, Commissioner of the Overseas Scouts, and Colonel H. C. Warre, organising secretary of Imperial troops. The Scouts were welcomed at Waterloo by New Zealanders in London. A member of the headquarters of the Scouts says the boys, during the voyage, carved a replica 'of the Arawa canoe, which will he presented to the Scout museum.
