REVOLVER SHOT
AT EGYPTIAN PREMIER. WOUND IN THE CHEST. BY GABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT CAIRO, July 12. Zaghlul Pasha-, the Premier, was slightly wounded on the right side of the chest at the railway station by a revolver shot when starting for Alexandria to attend a Royal reception. The assailant was with difficulty protected from an enraged mob, and was put on a train which hurried out of the station. The assailant was a student, Abdellatif Abkdelkhadir, who arrived in Cairo from Germany. He was injured by the crowd, who tried to storm the carriage, where he was protected by the police, in order to lynch him. Zaghlul Pasha is now in a private hospital, and bulletins regarding his condition are reassuring.
