HAWERA DAIRY COMPANY.

ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report of the Hawera Co-operative Dairy Factory Co., Ltd., for the year ended June 30, 1924, to be piesented to the annual general meeting of shareholders on July 28, states: Last season’s estimate of pay-out was Is 7Ad per lb butter-fat, and this estimate was exceeded, the final payment for the 1922-23 season bringing the total up to Is 7.77 d per lb butter-fat. This season all butter and cheese made has been sold, and. it has been possible to arrive at the final payment for the season, which will be 2d per lb butterfat on the supply from July to January, and 4d per lb butter-fat on the supply from February to June. This brings the total up to Is 7d per lb butter-fat for the 1923-24 season, and the final payment will be made on the day of the annual meeting. Interest on shares has been allowed for as usual, and absorbs £ll6B 6s 3d, also the levy under article 23 of the company’s articles of association, which amounted to £2067. The retiring directors are Messrs H. Barr, H . E. Johnson, and AY. H. Reynolds, and they offer themselves for re-elec-tion. It will be necessary to appoint an auditor and fix his remuneration. Mr V. B. Stratton does not seek veelection, and your directors desire to record their appreciation of his services to the company'.
