MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.
"* WAVERLEY v. HAWERA. A team of fifteen from the Hawera. Miniature Rifle Club visited Waverley on Monday to try conclusions with- the local club. After a very interesting match, Waverley were successful in winning by 77 points. At the conclusion of the match' the visitors were entertained to supper. President H. Catannch, on behalf of the Waverley Club, in a brief speech, welcomed the visitors to Waverley, Mr. Fryer replying on behalf of the Hawera Club. The scores were as follows: Hawera. —Laing 48. Peterson 48, Rae 47, Mrs, Rae 46, Mrs. Hawkins 46.
