DERAILED
ACCIDENT TO GOODS TRAIN. TRAFFIC DELAYED. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , TAIHAPE, July 10. A goods tram which left Ohakune last night at about 11 o’clock was derailed just south of Gardner’s mill siding. Four loaded trucks and two empties left the rails, and one of the trucks toppled over the bank into the xiautapu river, which is close to the lcUlvay at this point. Relief gangs were set to work immediately to ""clear the wreckage, but the line was not c eared til! after eight this morning. Ine passenger train which leaves Tainape for the north at 5.40 a.m. was deayed this morning for over three ™ Ur "V “nd the express from Auckland i'as delayed just over three hours. The cause of the derailment of the trucks is unknown. The line is now clear, and ordinary traffic has been resumed. This is the second time in a short period tnat trucks on the goods train have left the rails on the main line, the first occurring between Kaikarangi and Huntervi le some weeks ago. The express nas held nere 35 minutes so that the passengers breakfasted.
