M.P.’s SENSATIONAL ALLEGATIONS. A COMPLETE DENIAL. ar CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT LONDON, July 9. The Daily Herald publishes from the Skoda works a complete denial of Mr. E. D. Morel’s statement regarding Austria.

[Mr. E. D. Morel, a Commoner, in a remarkable interview with the Daily Herald, asserts that Europe is piling up explosives, for which powerful French industrial and professional interests are responsible. These are financing and directing great factories in Czecho-Slovakia, and Austria. Mr. Morel gives detailed statements of supplies of shells and guns recently sent from there to Jugo-Slavia, Roumania and Poland. He asserts that the Little Entente has also placed orders in Britain, and pleads urgency for an International Armaments Conference. He asks why Austria is permitted to turn on* supplies when under the control of the Allies Commission, in which Britain is represented.]
