LIABILITY OF HOTEL-KEEPERS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.i / WELLINGTON, July 9. The Magistrate (Mr. Riddell) entered judgment for plaintiff in a claim against a city hotelkeeper for Ihe loss of his belongings while plaintiff was staying at the hotel His Woship remarked that a notice was posted up stating that the licensee- would take no responsibility for property lost, but tills did not relieve him from liability under the Act This was one of the risks attached to keeping licensed premises.
