The herd is recognised as the best in the district, and during the last four years the average test was 5.5. Every cow is guaranteed by the vendor, and they are in calf to the pedigree Jersey bull Ferndale Captain. The majority of the heifers have been bred by the vendor, the balance having been selected from the best herds in the Inglewood district.
