AERIAL TRAFFIC.
GERMAN BAN ON BRITAIN. ,dY CARL* —PRESS ASSOCIATION- -COPYRIGF* Received July/ 8, . 9.55 a.m. LONDON, July 7. The German denial that Germany is withdrawing the license permitting Britain’s big aircraft to land in Germany after July 1 has proved inaccurate'. It is disclosed that none of 'the British Imperial Airways’ new fleet of super air liners have flown via Germany since last Tuesday. Under the German ban they were forced to substitute' one small four passenger aeroplane, which conforms with the restrictions imposed on Germany by the Versailles Treaty. Serious international complications have resulted from Britain’s unavailing efforts to secure the lifting'of the .ban. France is greatly- alarmed and fears that Britain, in an endeavour to> safeguard her flying industry, will insist on the modification of the Versailles Treaty favourable to Germany.—Sydney Run Cables.
