RIFLE SHOOTING.
The' final shoot for the Colonial Ammunition Company’s trophy was held on the Manutahi range recently, the winner turning up in Rflmn. J. Sylvester, of the Manaia Club. The weather conditions were very bad, rain falling at intervals with a strong wind blowing across the range throughout the shoot. The inclement- weather no doubt was responsible for the poor attendance generally, and for the total absence of the representatives from the Meremere Club. Robertson (Hawera.) 27 27 22—76Hobday (Manaia) 18 23 23 —64 The fifth round for the championship will be fired on the local range on Wednesday and Saturday this week. The scores will also count for the All-comers Cup. !
