STARK NAKED.
HANDS DRIPPING WITH: BLOOD. SCENE IN OHUROTI. 81 CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT • .» LONDON, July 17. There was an astounding scene in the Baptist Chapel at Luton. The minister had just left the pulpit when an amazed congregation saw a man, stark naked and his hands dripping with blood, rush into the church, dash up the pulpit stairs, and begin an oration from the rostrum. The scandalised parson rushed bac-k and several other men made 1 a dash at the- intruder, who made a frenzied struggle for several minutes before lie could be , carried into the vestry. He was found to he a well-to-do tradesman and a highly religious man, who had been ill for some days and had escaped from his sickroom, smashing the glass panels in the front door. He tore off his clothes in the street nnd then ran into the wellfilled streets towards the church.
