Cambridge made 173 against Marvlebcne, 98 for one. Durston for Marylehone took 5 for 31. The Gentlemen made 113 against Players (lIoAA-ell 5 for 44), and following on made 207 for 7 Avickets (Chapman 48). Lancashire Avith 397 declared (R. Tyldesley 65 not out) against Leicester 89. Tyldesley created a record in Lancashire cricket, his analj-sis reading: Eiwe OA’ers, fHe maidens, no runs, five wickets. He completed his 100 Avickets for the season. Macaulay took 4 for 45.
