The assurance that Senator Lafollette would accept endorsement as the Presidential candidate has been given to the conference on progressive political ar Lion by Representative Nelson, leader of Lafollette forces in the House of 'Rpvesentatives to-day. He declared that in the campaign Mr. Lafollette would denounce every form of special privilege and call on the / Progressives to strengthen their position in Congress and fight for the control of agencies that shall determine, the election of President. It is asserted that Mr. Lafollette will be the next President, or will have a* decisive say as to who would be the nation’s chief.
