Louise ; k Fazenda,:.; Hank Mann and -Lydia- Yeamans " Titus, three comedy-favourites of old, aie delighting audiences as funny hoardinghouse characters in John M. Stahl's photo-dramatic achievement, “The Wankers.” It is from the boardinghouse that the heroine, Myra Hastings, portrayed by Marie . Prevost,. saliies forth into the world as a chronic “wanter,” and obtains a job as a servant in the household of a millionaire. And though her romantic adventures eventually carry her to a high place in. the social scale, Myra Hastings learns that there are worse places than the old boarding-house, that there are meaner people than its boarders, and that the problem of a “wanter” is one of the hardest in the world to solve. The supporting programme includes an excellent comedy “False Alarm,”- the third episode of the popular serial “The Phantom Fortune,” a very i uteres tin oTravelogue, and the latest Topical Budget.

Rita Weiman and Alice Leal Pollock, the authors, obtained their material from the exposes of blackmail rings who have, attempted to swindle millionaires and celebrites. Under King Baggot’s direction, it shows in detail just how these parasites operate. The third episode of “Phantom Fortune” will also be shown.
