WEDNESDAY, JULY 9. • ; At 11. a.m. . Owing to the recent death of the founder of this great stud, the late Mr William Be van, the completet herd of 96 HEAD, including— NETHERLAND PIETERTJE OF BAINFTELD, “the 10001 b. Butter-fat, Bull,,” will be sold absolutely WITHOUT RESERVE. The herd is built on the very best blood lines, the bulk of the cattle being bred from the blood of such great imported sires as Woodcrest Joe, Sir de Kol Inka Pietertje, King Spgis, Wild Rose Homestead, and Grace Netherland Riverside. The late Mr'Bevan enrout a very stringent system of culling, and every animal that was not up to the highest stud standard was sold as a grade. The thoroughness in which'this was done is shown by the great tvpe and productive ability of the “Ti’koraugi” stud to-day. Semi-official testing has not- been seriously carried .out, but these cattle are bred right and built right as producers, some of the herd members having milked up to 901 b. per day ou grass alone.
