WEEKLY SITTING. A short list was dealt with at the Hawera Magistrate's Court this morning, when Messrs S. Blake and G. H. Ruokeridge, J.P.’s. presided. Judgment lor the plaintiff, with costs against the defendant was given m each of the following undefended civil cases': B. R. Long v. *a terete Mete, £ll 3s; H. B. Gibson v. Main a YYaitohu, £3 3s; B. R. Ixnig v. C. A. Timblick, £7. Francis W. 'Shackleton was fined 5s and 7s court costs for driving a motorcar in High Street, the rear number of which was obscured. A first offending inebriate was fined 10s, the fine to he remittee! if a prohibition order were taken out w'tliin 24 hours.
