REFORM PARTY.
WAIKATO CANDIDATE. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , TE A.WAMUTU, July 1. '1 he selection of a Reform candidate for Waikato was made to-day at a conference of delegates representing all parts of the electorate. Three candidates were represented at the conference, the final selection .being Mr. D. Stewart Reid, chairman of the Waipa County Council. NO DISCORDANT NOTE. WELLINGTON, July 1. The Reform Party held another caucus last night. The Premier (Mr. W. F. Massey) said afterwards that the party had had a very good meeting, and every member was present or apolo_ gised for. The meeting discussed the probable work of the session. There were no discordant notes, and the meeting was perfectly unanimous.
