HOME FURNISHERS. . At ono end of the main liall the wellknown home furnishing specialists, Messrs Purser and Suistcd, Ltd., have a very attractive display of furniture, furnishings, carpets, rugs, etc. . The stand is divided into two sections. On one side is designed an—exceptionally well designed suite in ash-finished French grey colour. The beautiful grain of the ash is preserved by the finishing treatment, and the artistic efFect created by the special setting out of the bedroom in rose colourings is very-fine indeed. • ■ It is worthy of notice that the firin' has recently sold two ash bedroom suites in French grey finish, ; to be delivered to two different • clients Who live in Auckland. One of the suites s ?kl is exactly similar to that on exhibition. This is a tribute to jfche ability of Purser and-Suisted as fur. nishing specialists, and an ' inspection, of the furniture exhibited wll elearb shoiv that the tribute is well deserved A dining-room suite in fumed oak is also • displayed and here again the setting has -been carried out most artistically. In addition to the dining. chairs, and buffiett. there is exhibited a neat example of upholstered furniture, comprising settee- and chairs in a handsome blue brocade. The din-ing-room exhibit shows samples of comparatively inexpensive furniture, and while the high-grade finish and is strictly maintniKed, the. lqw prices marked on the different articles will demonstrate clearly that the firm can meet the requirements of lean pocketbooks. • On the other side of- the stand is a fine display of carpets in Wilton and AxiniiisLor, also runners and rugs ir many styles and colourings. .Messrs 1 urser -and Suited, Ltd., have direct
accounts' with all the best carpet manufacturers in Great Britain, and this fact explains the low prices marked throughout- this section- of .the exhibit. The firm specially invites all Show visitors to call at their warehouse\in High Street and -spend a half-hour ’or more in looking through their various departments. All the lateist direct importations of carpets, rugs, linoleums, soft furnishings, decorative pottery, as well as the newest designs in fufinture and will be found artistically displayed. All are specially asked to feel welcome to call arid inspect one of the best collections of home furnishings in the Dominion’ . ' ...
