RECITATION IN LION’S CAGE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT PARTS, June 28. Baroness Deslandes recited part of a poem in a lion’s cage at the Neuilly fair for the benefit of charity. W 7 hen the lions, became restive their tamer urged her to cut the recitation short and the baroness hacked out.
Madame Elfrotuova sang while lying on a divan in the tiger’s cage, and others sang and danced in cages before a fashionable audience
