The machine put through £16,991, as against £11,160 last year, an increase of £5831. Results: Hunters’ Handicap Hurdles, one mile and a half.—Gay Bobbie 1, Good Mark 2, Kailcai 3. Also started: Cushat, Supporter, Silverfish, Fire Blight, Tekahau, Ngapaenga. Won by three lengths. Time, 2.51. Apley Hack Hurdles Handicap, one mile and a half.—Earthshine 1, Crown Coin 2, Bonibrook 3. Also started: Molyneaux, Mosthenes, Lady Hill, Communicate, Empyrean. Suspicion. Won by a neck. Time, 2.4 1-5. Hack Scurry Handicap, five furlongs. —Huikai 1, Merry Imp 2, Treadwell 3. Also started: Master Beckwith, Hiwinui, Puke Mohi, White Ensign, MacDhue, Pale Star, Damon, Bonlita, Request. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.3 1-5. Kawera Handicap, six furlongs and a half.—Happy Days 1, Civilform 2, Haurangi 3. Also started: March On, Hallowvonia. Duo, Megan. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, 1.22 1-5.
