LORD PAR-MOOR’S STATEMENT. APPROVED BY PRESS. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPfEIGHT LONDON, June 27. Lord Parmoor’s statement with regard to the Sudan is practically unanimously approved by the British press, while some writers are of the opinion that Zaglul, in view of his uncompromising attitude, should abandon his visit to London. Others admit there is room for an adjustment of the administation, which can conveniently he discussed with Zaglul .in Loudon. The Canros vernacular press publishes columns of protests against Lord Parmoor’s statement from places throughout Egypt. A huge demonstration of sympathy has been planned in Cairo. Zaglul said the friends of England, in Egypt were ashamed of Lord Parmoor’s declaration, which increased the anger of Anglophobes and made an agreement difficult. —Reuter.
