According to a telegram from Trenton, New Jersey, the State Athletic Commissioner (Mr Newton) Fas approved the articles of the agreement between Firpo and Wills for a bout in Boyles Thirty Acres on August 30. It is announced that since the bout will lead to the championship fight the promoters will be permitted to charge the maximum admittance of 25 dollars, plus tax. The annoncement settles the question whether the New Jersey Commission sanctions mixed bouts. BUTCHER KNOCKS OUT GLEESON. SYDNEY, June 29. At the Stadium, Eddie Butcher easily defeated Pat Glee son, knocking him out in the sixth round after a hard, slogging contest.
