Britain desired Germany to give a written undertaking to carry out the necessary measures for the execution of the plan. M. Herriot insisted to Air MacDonald the necessity for a settlement of the inter-Allieil debts question, and the British Premier admitted that they should be taken up without delay.—Reuter.
