ACTION BY MR MACDONALD. 8Y CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, June 26. Mr MacDonald informed a deputation of members of the House of Commons that, in view of the changed circumstances, including strategy, air power, and the necessity for promoting harmonious Anglo-French relations, he was summoning a special meeting of the Committee of Imperial Defence, at which he will preside himself, to consider and report on the Channel tunnel scheme.—Reuter.
