In our advertising columns Newton Kina, Ltd., announce that they are not holding any more hide and skin sales at Stratford. They are now cash buyers of calfskins, hides, etc., in any quantity, and prices will be clear of commission. The auctioneers (Loan and Mercantile Co. and Farmers’ Co-op. in conjunction) wish particular attention to he drawn to the fact that the clearing sale on behalf of Messrs Best Bros., Fltham, previously advertised to be held on July 1, has, owing to unforeseen circumstances, been postponed until July 15. Full particulars will he duly advertised. At "Waiwnkaiho sale yards on Thursday next there will he* sold by auction two complete herds of pedigree Jersey cattle, one on behalf of Mrs Clarke, of Lepperton. and the other on account of Mrs McFJdowney, of Spotswood. Both herds contain a number of very good quality cattle, and prospective buyers would do well to attend the sale.* Tt will commence at 11 a.m. sharp, and luncheon will he obtainable at the sale yards. Catalogues have been printed, and can he obtained from all branches of the auctioneers, Newton King, Ltd.
